Harbor Vision & Values Class

Are you new to The Harbor or interested in hearing about our vision and ministry style?

The Harbor Vision & Values Class is one of our Harbor Core courses and is the first step in our ministry team process. It explores what we do at The Harbor, why we do it and how we do it.

This class will help you discover how you fit in the Harbor community.

Our next Harbor Vision & Values is scheduled for 2 Wednesday evenings, January 22 & 29, from 6:30-8:30.

Gifts Identification Class

Did you know that God has given you special gifts that are unique to you? Do you know what they are? Do you know how to use them?

God designed each of His people for important and fulfilling roles in His Kingdom. Our unique talents, personality, passions, and spiritual gifts are to be “discovered” and used in fulfilling your call.

This exciting class uses several “testing” instruments to help you identify your unique gift-mix and further explore the many ways you can serve God and others effectively.

The Gifts Identification Class is offered two times per year.

The next Gifts Class will begin in spring 2020.

Sharing our Faith in a Changing Culture

The culture is changing. People are less open to talking about faith. Yet, practicing Christians overwhelmingly believe that the best thing that could happen to their friends is that they come to know Jesus.

In this course we will:
• Look at why the old evangelism methods have become less effective
• Discuss new methods and ideas for sharing our faith
• Investigate 5 mini-conversions that many experience along their process of becoming Christ-followers
• Study how to build genuine friendships with people who aren’t Christ followers
• Explore the unique styles of evangelism that the Lord has placed in us, and identify our own style
• And examine the Alpha course and how we can use it to impact the lives of our friends.

The next Sharing our Faith Class will begin in spring 2020.
